The foreword offers a sort of "State of the Union" in which the company reported on the death of the previous year's book's editor Milo Quaife, as well as the news that ground had been broken in Old Saybrook, CT for a new plant designed to handle production for Life Magazine. Text covers the Upper Missouri fur trade. MANY titles available from the navy blue series of the 1950's, 60's and 70's and several from the 1940's red series.
