Biographical Sketch; Letters Written While On A European Tour

Very nice clean book and quite scarce. Brown pebbled boards, very clean with bright gilt title at face. Pages likewise without fault. Photograph of Weakley at frontis with tissue guard. Was published "for the family" and consists of letters written by Weakly during a trip to Europe in 1897. Herbert Weakley served President and general manager of the Herald Publishing Company, of Dayton, Ohio, later assumed controlling interest and enjoyed the largest circulation local newspaper in the area. Letters are quite well done and offer an interesting look at late 19th century overseas travel.
