Book is very handsome and oversized at 9-1/2"x12". Pages and page edges pistine with no nams or writing other than author's signature which reads, "With best wishes, Al Chambers May, 1993." It was not inscribed to a particular person. Books jacket shows minor creasing to top back edge, but no tears or chips and is clean and bright in brand new mylar. As you can see from the photo, there is also laid-in a print showing the geometry of Poplar Forest which is a perfect cube surrounded by four elongated octagons within an octagon. Book has color plates at the fornt and back and white photographs amd drawings within the text which offers much detail and historical anecdote. Book was published to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Jefferson's birth. 243 pages.
