First Edition Society Franklin Press, 1976. Beautifully bound in gilded leather with design on both boards. Gold moire endpapers, gilding to all three edges, and a clean gold ribbon marker bound-in. Only visible fault is a pin-point black dot to front cover which I hesitate to remove. Book has no names or writing. This is in an interesting novel with an equally interesting back story. Vonnegut wrote it as a commentary on his closeness with his sister Alice who died of cancer in 1958. Her husband died in a train accident two days before she did, so Vonnegut adopted and raised her children. He dedicated the book to Laurel and Hardy. Book measures 6-1/2"x8-1/4" and has 256 pages. Illustrated. [SPC ED. RM . ]
