Very atrractive book with just one fault -- sunning to spines of both dustjacket and slipcase. Otherwise pristine with blue cloth binding to book and to top and bottom of case. Trilussa (1873-1950) was a poet who wrote in the dialect of Rome. He grew in popularity during the 1920's and 30's and yet was not a member of the literati. He preferred to communicate with common people in the taverns and streets. The book measures 5-1/2" x 8" has has 1017 pristine pages. no names or writing. Written in its entirety in Italian.
