Beautiful book bound in textured cloth which opens to show handsome paper and art consisting of both sketches and color paintings. Text is in German. Oskar Kokoshka was a painter, but also a set designer for the stage. Book measures 11" x 14" and is in very nice condition with a strong binding and no cracks to gutters. Only defect is minor -- a handsome older bookplate affixed to front pastedown. Overall a lovely book.
