24 pages. Presented in the form of a calender. Turning a page to the next month reveals a lovely colour Kurelek illustration, the name of the month, a written description of typical Canadian prairie farm activity Kurelek performed during that month as a youth, and his personal reflections on the task. This text is based on 'A Prairie Boy's Winter', published in 1973, and 'A Prairie Boy's Summer', published in 1975. The last page includes a photo of Kurelek reading stories of his childhood to his four children, plus his biographical details. Reproduced inside the back cover are four black and white photos of Kurelek performing farm work in his youth. Unmarked with somewhat above-average soiling and wear, but still a worthy copy of this most charming work by one of Canada's most beloved artists.; Colour Illustrations; 8vo
