Bumping and shelf wear to the covers. A reunion sticker is affixed to the rear cover and on the back side of the black front endpaper. The binding is cracked at that page. A blank page follows and is filled with student signatures. The title page follows and has a surprise inscription from Houston television personality Marvin Zindler, who did not attend Sam Houston (San Jacinto graduate). His first wife, Gertrude Kugler, was a senior at Sam Houston in 1938 and someone brought their yearbook from 1938 to the reunion and had Zindler sign it. Sylvia Bass is listed as Editor for this edition. Principal W.S. Brandenberger signed by his picture following the title page. Other students signed next to their class pictures and on the last blank page of the book.
