The dust jacket has a few edge tears, two small holes on the front flap fold, rubbing wear, foxing, and moisture stains on the bottom half of the spine. Protected now in a Mylar sleeve. Inscribed to the former owner by the author on the front free endpaper. 296 pages with Bibliography and Index. Illustrated with drawings, photos, and maps. The Chisholm Trail began after the Civil War in South Texas to drive cattle north through Texas, across Indian Territory (Oklahoma), and into Kansas.
