McCain, the Adjutant General who approved these regulations was Henry Pinckney McCain, a distant uncle of U. S. Senator John McCain. H.P. McCain set up the World War I draft and became known as the father of Selective Service. 462 pages, illustrated with drawings and diagrams, some fold-out.
