From the dust jacket: "Lo scopo del lavoro del metodo che ci accingiamo a riproporre, abbastanza rigoros dal punto di vista finetico, non ha nei suoi intendimenti la presunzione di correggere il modo attuale di parlare e le sue "evolute", stranezze, tra l'altro anch'esse motivo di analisi e di studio, bensi la piu modesta aspirazione di voler concorrere all'abbattimento di quel muro che ancora si oppone alla possibilita di porter testimoniare alle future generazioni, e in modo integrale, quel poco di "verace" che ancora ci rimane della nostra cultura popolare: canti, poesie, modi di dire, proverbi, ricordi in genere i cui contorni si fanno sempre piu evanescenti poiche confortati dalla sola capacita mnemonica."
