Prints are in Fine condition, housed in a printed portfolio cover that has some toning, small stains, and a bit of edge wear. Number 175 of a numbered edition of 2,500, this collection includes twelve lithographic prints on heavy, cream-colored paper, 11 X 14-inches each, preceded by a descriptive index of the photographs and a map indicating the location of the plantation homes (both on the same size and type of paper). A typed sheet of paper is included indicating this portfolio was in the collection of historian, author, and Louisiana State University professor, Edwin A. Davis. The plantation home photographs included in this portfolio include Magnolia Ridge, Chretien Point, Acadian House Museum, Shadows-on-the-Teche, Madewood, Arlington, Oaklawn Manor, Ducros, Bayside, Creole, and Belle Alliance.
