The American as Faust

[nice tight copy, light soiling to top edge but no discernible wear; jacket lightly soiled, worn along fore-edge of front panel, tiny tears with minor paper loss at top of spine]. A "dramatic poem," recasting the Faust legend with modern American characters -- "A Man from Yale, an industrialist," his wife, and "John Faust, a research scientist." So the Devil is a Yale Man, eh Hmm. (Skull and Bones, too, no doubt.)
