[good solid copy, some age-toning and light spotting to top of text block, but just minimal shelfwear; jacket shows wear along spine, small tears and minor paper loss at several corners and top of spine, chipping to top and bottom of rear panel (no loss of text)]. "Although written for the layman and lightened by flashes of humor, [this book] is a sound text book for medical students, trained nurses, social workers, teachers and ministers of religion; and it is an easily understood introduction to psychiatry." The author was Dean of the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, and had held numerous teaching positions, as well as writing books and radio commentaries. This seems to be an alternate, less "commercial" non-pictorial version of the dust jacket, eschewing the "crazy" title; I do like the little graphic of the squirrel nibbling the nut (get it) on the front cover of the book itself.
