[book is modestly shelfworn, slight bumping and teensy fraying at lower corners; dust jacket is heavily worn, some paper loss to spine extremities, spine panel discolored, front flapfold extensively split, various creases, small tears, etc.]. Satirical farce about a foreign correspondent in Moscow. Introductory note by Herman Shumlin, who produced the play on Broadway; the Spewacks later adapted it for an M-G-M film starring Lee Tracy. Very uncommon in the dust jacket (although this is admittedly a pretty rough example) -- sure wish I knew the illustrator of same.
