An absolute Who's Who of the Black music world of that time, containing entries on just about any performer that you can think of, and a few I'll bet you can't. (Pharoah Sanders, anybody Or Marc Copage) The only (slight) drawback is that the entries are not arranged alphabetically, nor is there an alpha index -- but there is a table of contents, so it's not too much of a chore to find the people you might be looking for. Very uncommon, especially in such beautiful condition (I suspect most copies have probably fallen apart from intensive flipping-through). Not surprisingly, OCLC records only four institutional copies.
