He was the 17th recipient of the Camerimage Festival's annual Lifetime Achievement Award. Includes: a brief biography and filmography; an introduction by Seale himself; his film-by-film commentary on his work, heavily photo-illustrated; comments from his professional colleagues; and a personal photo album. Among his numerous credits were WITNESS, GORILLAS IN THE MIST, RAIN MAN, DEAD POETS SOCIETY, THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY, HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE, and COLD MOUNTAIN. He had essentially retired at the time this award was bestowed, but subsequently returned to action to shoot two films for director George Miller: MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (2015) and THREE THOUSAND YEARS OF LONGING (2022).
