An autobiography by the founding editor of the notorious tabloid The New York Evening Graphic (and thus a pioneer of the "if it bleeds, it leads" school of journalism). He bailed from the Graphic in 1929, taking columnist Walter Winchell (who he had hired) with him to the rival Hearst paper, The Daily Mirror, which he piloted until 1935.
