(pictorial boards; no dust jacket, as issued) [extremely light handling wear, essentially presents as new] (B&W photographs) A posthumously-issued collection of photos of McQueen, by a photographer described in the Introduction as "an artist, photographer, filmmaker, thrill-seeker and long-time friend of McQueen, [who] was instinctively in tune with everything that was taking place on and off set" during the shooting of BULLITT. Most of the photos in the book are from that shoot, with some additional shots of McQueen engaged in his favorite off-screen pursuit, auto racing. (Because there seems to be some kind of unwritten rule that you can't publish a photographic book about Steve McQueen without including shots of him with cars and/or motorcycles.) Feinstein (1931-2011) was most famous for his work on record album covers during the 1960s and 1970s, but had a long a varied career photographing leading Hollywood and political figures of his day, and was also a cinematographer who shot (among other things) the Montery Pop Festival in 1967 and the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971. ****NOTE that additional postage charges will be assessed for international shipping of this somewhat heavy book; if this concerns you, please contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.****
