Front panel illustrations of Julie Andrews (whose STAR! was one of the year's biggest bombs), Walter Matthau, Joanne Woodward, Rod Steinger, Barbra Streisand, Omar Sharif, and Patriia Neal. The year's "Promising Personalities" boasted a somewhat higher than usual percentage of actors who actually did fulfill their promise (or at least had significant careers), incluiding Jacqueline Bisset, Beau Bridges, Jim Brown, Genevieve Bujold, Mia Farrow, James Caan, Jon Voight, and Martin Sheen. The volume is dedicated not to a movie star of any variety, but to John Willis's sister Ilene.
