30-page fanzine devoted to its eponymous subject, the comic actress who unfortunately is remembered as much for her mysterious death in 1935 as much as for any of her screen performances -- although the publisher and readership of this publication would probably beg to differ. The editorial contents of this issue are: an editorial statement, railing against the E! cable channel's tretment of Thelma (which the editor/publisher thought was pretty horrible, and about which he also brags about having not been tricked into participating in, while also sneaking in a few digs at author Andy Edmonds and her "hoax book" about Todd); a reproduction of a 2-page 1933 magazine article by Todd, "How I Was Groomed for Stardom"; plot synopses of two films starring Thelma, TREASURE BLUES (1935; also with Patsy Kelly) and ALUM AND EVE (1932; also with ZaSu Pitts); a 4-page article discussing "Thelma's Lost Films"; and a list of Thelma's appearances in the SCREEN SNAPSHOTS series of short films. The pictorial content (film stills and publicity shots, magazine ads and covers) is photocopy-quality, and not even necessarily first-generation photocopies -- in other words, very contrasty and/or washed-out.
