Numerous auto tours outlined, as usual with this series, with a special section devoted to Grand Canyon National Park. 116 photographs, with the credited photographers including Forman Hanna, Joseph Miller, Marshall Beauchamp, Max Kegley, Jerry McLain, and the Farm Security Administration. The small sketches that serve as chapter heads are mostly uncredited, although two are signed by Ross Santee, Chronology; bibliography; index. Note that, unlike most volumes in this series, all the maps in the book are printed in the text proper (plus two endpaper maps); there is no map pocket at the rear of the book. NOTE again that the dust jacket on this book is a FACSIMILE, and that its presence has not been factored into our pricing.
