German Oculus stereoscope in original wood case. Looks to have barely been used, overall excellent condition. Includes (8) glass stereoviews, one is cracked. We ship most items in this auction in house and gladly combine shipping if possible of multiple items. Provenance: Russell, Johanson, Ravenna Rare Books, Seattle, Washington estate collection. Original German 3D image viewer was used to train people for reviewing aerial reconnaissance pictures. Made by Oculus. A very precise stereoscope, with little adjustable comparison tool. It comes with 8 different slides, some are of landscapes and some are calibration slides. It all packs up nicely in its original wooden box. The box is marked on the side with a waffen amt and the Oculus company logo.
