Vol. IX" 2-18, [4], (33)-397 pp. Folding, undamaged lithograph map, hand-colored; 77 pages (!) of illustrated advertisements. (8vo) 22.5x14 cm (8x5") original cloth-backed printed boards, spine lettered in gilt. The map, 40.5x55 cm, shows the city of Portland from the latest surveys. Previously in the collection of the Massachusetts Historical Society, with their bookplate and cancellation stamp. Boards browned and edge worn, hinges cracked; very good.
