Text block remains sewn together. All 32 pages present. Pages are toned at edges, indicating it may have been read by candle or lamp light. Each page has an engraving and a poem. Many of the poems are very odd. A short example: 'Pancakes and fritters, Says the bell of St. Peters.' A wonderful example of children's literature of the time. Scarce, only a few in libraries in the United States, most of those from a different publisher.
