Cover has moderate shelfwear, corners and spine ends rubbed, gilt titles remain bright, pictorial front plates has scratches. Previous owner's vintage bookplate on front pastedown. Frontispiece and 9 additional Illustrations are all present and quite lovely. Pages are clean and unmarked, slightly toned, table of contents throught half-title page has some foxing near binding edge, possibly the result of someone pressing a flower in the book. Binding is tight. Hinges are perfect. Very nice copy.
