G.P. Putnam's Sons,1927. Very scarce. Only a few copies in libraries. Hard Cover. Cover has moderate shelfwear, rubbed and chipped around all edges, especially corners, Top 3 inches of orange lamination missing at top of spine. Cover illustration is in good shape. Pages are clean and unmarked, very slightly toned. Binding is tight. Hinges are perfect. Very nice copy. The illustrator, Stacy H. Wood was a noted graphic artist in the early 20th century. She illustrated childrens books and maps.
