Original maroon 3/4 leather on marbled boards. Tiny piece missing head of spine. Repaired tear base of spine. No other original copies found. This copy signed by Giles Stevenson, who was a Professor of Radiology at McMaster University. All edges gilt. Born in Northern Ireland, Isabella came under influence of the Methodists through her father. Upon moving to Newfoundland she became its third published author. This volume is dedicated to the Methodist College Aid Society, St. John's, and George Street Methodist Church was one of numerous beneficiaries of her will. 232 pp.
