Cover has edgewear, and pastedown has several rubbed areas. Spine darkened. Both hinges starting. Gift inscription. Title page is only attached by its top half. Corner of tissue over frontispiece is torn. Pg. 265 separated but present. Last page has vertical crease. Scarce. 375 pp.
