Original blue cloth with black lettering and decoration. Spine sunned. Minor corner and edgewear. The author was a teacher in a residential school in British Columbia for seven years, and then was "Indian Agent" for Kwawkewlth Indian Agency for 26 years. He was responsible for trying to eliminate the potlatch tradition in the area (and also apparently helped himself to many of the ceremonial items). Due to its scarcity, the book will be sent with insurance, so expect a request for extra shipping. Proceeds from this sale will be donated to the Indigenous Women of the Wabanaki Territories in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Scarce. 240 pp.
