Book has some edge and corner wear but is square and securely bound. ; 16 Color Plates and 64 B&W Plates; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 383 pages; The author was Canadian and this book focuses on the northern Appalachians and the western mountains, but much applies to the southern Appalachians as well. The color plates are especially attractive with a muted pastel quality, though I am unsure of the process used to print them.
