Light blue covers with title in black rectangle on the spine. Book is square and securely bound. The FFEP has beeen torn out. The interesting thing about the copy is that it was part of the Davison's department store Rental Library at their Athens. GA store in 1956. There is a stamped acquisiition date, a stamp that shows the rental at 3 cents a day for 14 days, and a list of, I suppose, borrowers in pencil. There are some ink markings on the front pastedown and a tear on the pastedown. The jacket is quite attractive with some wear to the folds. There are Rental Library banners on front and back. I have not been able to find out any informzation about Davison's lirbaries. Now gone, the store was part of the Macy's chain and eventually was renamed Macy's. In Atlanta it was RIch's chied competitor.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 192 pages; Novel by Georgia poet Reece about a lynching in north Georgia.
