The cover title looks professionally printed, but the interior has an introduction and pictures of gates in Charleston that look like they were cut out and pasted in at the top of each. Each gate has been labeled but a separate label strip has been pasted to the bottom of two of the pictures. The booklet has a handmade quality to it. There is no author, no publisher, no date. WorldCat shows four copies that seem to be this same book. Brown University gives an estimated date of 1926.
