Stapled, pictorial wraps with color art of pirate and lady by Flagg. Light, general wear and aging; still square and securely bound. ; B&W Drawings; 4to 11" - 13" tall; Unpaginated pages; Very attractive, large format promotional book for Honeymoon Isle, Florida development ca. 1940. This development, near Dunedin, still exists though part of it is now a state park. The real feature here is the nineteen drawings by James Montgomery Flagg that make a kind of story about Honeymoon Isle. There is a letter from flagg, printed at the beginning in which he explains how taken he was with the island and its accommodations. There is text with the drawings but the author is not listed. Information on the resort is featured after the drawings. Quite a nice production and relatively unusual.
