Barnaby Rudge

This is an attractive copy of the first separate American edition of Dickens' Barnaby Rudge published in Philadelphia by Lea and Blanchard in 1842. This copy has been professionaly repaired. It has been rehinged along with some cosmetic repairs to the corners, edges and spine of the full leather covers, along with a paper label with the title on the spine. The interior has a good bit of foxing and toning including light evidence of an old dampstain on the bottom right quadrant of a number of pages. Overall, a G to VG copy.
