Jazz was published in the early 1940's by legendary jazz record producer, Bob Thiele, and Dann Priest. The magazine ceased publication in1943 but began again in late 1944. This issue features articles on Bix Beiderbecke, Jazz Instrumentalists, Johnny Dodds, John Hammond and several others. There is also a section of photos of Great Instrumentalists -- Earl "Fatha" Hines, Teddy Bunn, Bud Freeman, Louis Armstrong and George Brunis.
