Book has only light wear and aging with a small stain in the bottom margin of page 60. Square and securely bound, an about near fine copy. The dust wrapper is price clipped and has some minor wear along the bottom edge; still an attractive VG to VG+ wrapper. With Understanding Media, Marshall McLuhan became a voice for the changes in communication that began to take place in the 1960's. Often misunderstood, he, nonetheless, suggested ways of adapting to and dealing with the rapid changes that were taking place. Verbi-Voco-Visual Explorations is not a typical book on technology but it certainly seems to suggest the chaos that computers have brought to communication and it does seem to offer ways of dealing with that technology. In time we may look back on McLuhan as the prophet of our time. ; B&W Illustrations; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 85+ pages
