Light and dark green cloth over boards with bright gilt titles. The book is near fine with very light aging on the foredge. The real interest here, however, is that a dustwrapper is present. It has some edge and corner wear with small chips and tears. The spine top has suffered some damage and is almost torn away, but is still presentable in a Mylar jacket. This is a 1st American Edition (I think) from 1895 with an exceedingly rare dust wrapper. MacLaren's stories of Scotland, told in dialect, were wildly popular and went through many printings and editions in Great Britain and the US. This is a special copy.; Small 8vo 7" - 8" tall; 327 pages
