4to-sized (9X12), singlefold, slick paper fan club newsletter for the Sons of the Pioneers. I cannot find a date for this issue (Vol. 4. No. 4) but the Pioneers first album for RCA is reviewed and that album came out in 1949. Karl Farr is on the cover and there are articles of various types for fans of the group. There are also song lyrics, addresses for other fan clubs and much general information. These fan club newsletters from the 1940's and 50's are quite uncommon. This copy has two horizontal fold lines for mailing and tattering, mainly along the top edge. There are several small closed tears.
