4to-sized (9X12), singlefold, slick paper fan club newsletter for the Sons of the Pioneers. The issue lists months (March, April, May) but no year; however, internal evidence indicates that this issue is from 1949. The cover has a photo of Tim Spencer, and there are articles and letters of various types for fans of the group. There are also song lyrics, addresses for other fan clubs and much general information. These fan club newsletters from the 1940's and 50's are quite uncommon. WorldCat/OCLC locates no copies in libraries. This copy has two horizontal fold lines for mailing but otherwise, only light wear and aging.
