Yurika Foods was established in 1982 in Michigan as a Multi-level Marketing Company 9read pyramid scheme). Although one of the founding couples were Mormon, there doesn't seem to be a formal affiliation with the Church. The company filed for bankruptcy in 1985. This cookbook features recipes from members of the Yurika "family," and many of them use ingredients sold through the Yurika system, primarily baking mixes, potato flakes and something called Nutri-Whey (sounds yummy!). Condition is VG except for some bending to a few pages across the binder rings.
