This edition of The Memoirs of Dolly Morton is copied (photo offset) from the 1899 edition by Charles Carrington of Paris. The publisher of this copy was Holloway House, a smalll publisher noted for such African-American classics as Pimp by Iceberg Slim and the novels of Donald Goines. These salacious memoirs must have already been translated when Holloway House reprinted them.
