Bibles and Bible stories were popular themes, and like this one, the purchaser could choose from a variety of styles, the fancier the more expensive of course! This is a wonderful copy of sample book for Elsie Egermeier's Bible Story Book, 9th Revised Edition from 1927. It includes sample story pages, cover options, order sheets (unused), a brochure to leave with a prospective customer, and several pages of step by step instructions for the salesman. The cover has a little wear on the edges and corners, but the interior is clean and unmarked. The book came in three distinct styles, ranging from 2.00 to 3.75. The front of the sample is the Reader's Edition, the back the Home study Edition and inside the front and back covers are saples of the Delux Library Edition. A very collectible copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; not paginated pages
