This is an interesting biography of Garrison by an African-American author who was a nephew of the well-known South Carolina Grimke Sisters. Grimke was a lawyer, journalist and diplomat who served as Vice-President of the NAACP around 1914. This is a reprint by the Negro Universities Press in 1969. The book is near fne, the only markings are on the ffep: Josephite Archives, 10-28-80, PEH and an inked #.
