I picked up this book because of "Rare Books" in the title - a sure-fire attention getter for a bookseller! I discover that Hellenga's research for his story of a family of rare booksellers in Chicago and Michigan incuded a workshop I had attended as well as booksellers I know, at lease by reputation. It is an interesting storyline, but for me the real facination was the look at the rare book trade, though the main character, Gabe Johnson, was a much more successful dealer than most of us, who certainly don't deal in $100,000 books! ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 350 pages
