Book is near fine except for a felt tip pen mark out on the ffep. A former owner's name was stamped on that page and some one tried to cover it with a balck marker. The name is still readable but some of the marker ink has bled through to the next endpaper and has left a small reddish area on the dustjacket flap fold. Otherwise this is a square, securely bound copy with almost no wear. Jacket shows some wear when angled to the light but it is quite attractive. (See scan. ) ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 238 pages; Collection of fourteen stories by Bontemps published the year of his death.
