Entries are presented in very small typeface, in two columns per page, divided by a center rule. With a section of 30 black & white plates depicting statuary and scenes from the ancient world. An entry in Everyman's Reference Library series. --- In full navy cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped spine titling & horizontal rules, compass design in blind to front cover and dark red topstain. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- With prior owner's bookplate affixed to front free endpaper, 2 inked markings to cloth and small white spot to cover, else a tightly-bound, sound, otherwise unmarked copy.
