Illustrated boards show very light shelf wear.; A bright, solid book. Oblong 9.5"x11.5". Profusely illustrated throughout. A large heavy book, may require extra postage. ; B&W and Colour photographs; 254 pages; This is not dated but appears to have been published in 2007 on the centenary of the founding of St. Paul's Hospital in what became downtown Vancouver, better known as the West End. It grew to be a vital part of fast growing community that includes high rise office buildings, apartment buildings, high end stores, Skid Row, Chinatown, two large arenas, Stanley Park and a growing homeless population. As of 2020 there are plans to replace the aging hospital with a new one nearby.
