The covers of Priscilla magazine are really sensational, but I think this one by Ronald Anderson may be my favorite to date. What a strong, bold graphic and such a pleasing vignette it portrays. As always, Priscilla is about needlework primarily, but these wartime issues don't flinch from reality either. It's all about making do and still making fine things, as well as service to one's country. It's quite large at 10"x14" and is clean and crisp. No mailing label, but it has been folded vertically for insertion in mailbox. I have ironed it and put it in the book press and it now lays flat. Issue contains two especially fine full page ads -- one for Congoleum "rugs" and one for Colgate Talc Powder.
