Oversized newspaper-like magazine -- one of the early Harper's Bazars. I think the pages had to have been opened by the reader which is why the top and side edges show unevenness and small tears. I have, however, repaired the tears with almost invisible archival tape to keep them from worsening. Overall this is a very clean and attractive magazine geared to women. Among the stories are American Women As Seen By Englishmen, New York Fashions, Paris Fashions, and Women As Stenographers and Type-Writers. Many ads at back which are also fun to read. Magazine measures 12" across and 16-1/2" tall when fully opened. The two strips at cover are actually mailing labels addressed to Mr.s. O.M. Munroe, De Soto, Missouri.
